Dutton Bits 3-Piece Smooth Dog Bone Short Shank with Large Loose Ring OC-19
The Dutton OC-19 Old Cowboy Bit features a smooth three-piece dog bone mouthpiece paired with a short shank and large loose ring. The loose-ring design provides a slower, more forgiving response while still offering the leverage and control of a shank bit.
The mouthpiece features 3/8" copper-inlaid bars with a 1 1/2" copper-wrapped dog bone center. Its three-piece construction provides tongue relief while helping distribute pressure across the bars of the horse's mouth. The copper encourages salivation and acceptance of the bit.
