Dutton Bits 07-CH4 Cavalry Shank 2" Port Chain Bit
The Dutton Bits 07-CH4 is a medium-severity training bit designed for a broke horse that needs additional flexion, collection, and responsiveness. The 2" high port applies pressure to the palate while also working through the tongue and bars for more defined cues.
The chain mouthpiece collapses across the bars, encouraging the horse to flex and collect. Its swept-back Cavalry shank helps discourage a horse from playing with the shank while providing excellent balance. The longer shank also increases leverage through the chin and poll.
