The port allows the horse to swallow and move his tongue when he is moving forward and relaxed, which acts as a release or reward. The mouthpiece is curved, and it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation.

Independent Side Movement™

Sweet Iron mouthpiece

Curved mouthpiece does not pinch lips and bars

Copper Inlay

Black shank will discolor over time to an antique brown

Stainless steel dots

Notes: The MB 04 provides an excellent transition from Level One to Level Two. It is suitable for a wide range of horses, including green horses, experienced horses entering the Myler System, horses that have been ridden exclusively in a single-jointed mouthpiece, or horses that have not been ridden for a while needing re-schooling. The Black Steel Seven Shank is a length of round black steel in a “7” curve, with a ring purchase and a rein ring. The mouthpiece is fixed to the cheek with a decorative “stack.” The entire shank moves independently of the mouthpiece. The purchase is slightly angled away from the cheek to avoid rubbing.

Size: 6 ¾"" shank

Action: Indirect

Discipline: Western

Degree of Leverage: Mild to Moderate

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0373/3769/4347/files/0008758_black-steel-seven-shank-with-low-port-mb-04-with-copper-roller_600.jpg?v=1791911912
https://nigroswesternstore.com/it/products/toklat-205-395myler-black-seven-shank-with-sweet-iron-low-port-mb-04-with-copper-roller-level-2
